The Company

KAT Innovation is developing a first-in-class Precision Bone Bioelectronics™ Platform, a scalable technology ecosystem designed to support multiple products, therapeutic indications, and future generations of wearable bioelectronic therapies for skeletal health. The Platform integrates proprietary bioelectronic stimulation technologies, wearable medical electronics, smart textile systems, computational modelling, clinical science, connected digital health capabilities, and intellectual property within a common technological foundation.

Founded on a genuine passion for innovation and a deeply personal motivation, KAT Innovation is dedicated to designing and realizing technologies that can change lives. Marcel Maroist, CEO and founder, is a dynamic and committed entrepreneur with extensive experience in health, fitness, and sports, whose own family's experience with osteoporosis first revealed the need for a better solution. His expertise has enabled him to assemble a multidisciplinary team of seasoned professionals, and KAT Innovation aspires to lead the medical and healthcare technology industry with advanced solutions that enhance health outcomes and streamline the work of medical professionals.

The Platform's first intended commercial application, OSTAAT™ (One Stimulation At A Time), is being developed as a smart wearable medical device initially targeting women aged 50 and over who are newly diagnosed with osteoporosis. The lead application is focused on the hip, one of the most clinically significant anatomical sites for fragility fractures, disability, loss of independence, and healthcare expenditure.

To design a connected, effective, and state-of-the-art platform, KAT Innovation prioritizes international collaboration. Since its inception, the company has expanded globally, establishing KAT Innovation Canada (Montreal), KAT Innovation France (Paris), KAT Innovation Technologies Spain (Malaga), KAT Innovation USA (Chicago / Beverly Hills), and soon KAT Innovation UK Ltd.

Our Mission & Our Vision

At KAT Innovation, our mission is to develop clinically validated Precision Bone Bioelectronics™ technologies that improve bone health, reduce fracture risk and empower people to live fully, preserving their mobility, independence and quality of life.

KAT Innovation aspires to be the world's defining force in Precision Bone Bioelectronics™, redefining how the world prevents and manages bone fragility through clinically validated, non-invasive therapies.
